IMPROV TO GO was founded and is managed by Pearce Visser.

An actor/improviser/writer/emcee/entertainer based in Vancouver, he has over 33 years of professional experience.

Pearce joined the Vancouver TheatreSports (TM) League in 1990, and was the Artistic Director of the world renowned improvisational theatre company for 6 years, guiding the organization as the VTSL moved into its own theatre and helped push sales to over 1.5 million

Pearce has entertained and hosted literally thousands of weekly improv shows and performed for hundreds of business clients in customized improv based corporate events, as well as teaching improv to corporate clients and businesses. He has presided as an emcee for many corporate clients including Business in Vancouver, the Building Owners and Managers Association of BC , the Canadian Standards Association Annual Awards Ceremony and the LEO awards (BC Film and TV awards)

Pearce has earned a spot in Cirque du Soleil’s actor talent pool and is a member of The Comic Strippers, a Canadian Comedy Award winning improv show and phenomenon touring Canada and the USA.

IMPROV TO GO has worked with the Justice Institute of BC providing acting services for training simulations hosted by the Provincial Police Academy, Sheriffs, Corrections Canada, Paramedics, and the BC Ministry of Family Services.

As an entertainer, a host and an emcee on cruise ships with Royal Caribbean, Princess, and Crystal Cruise Lines, Pearce has travelled extensively to Deliver the WOW.

As a film and TV actor, Pearce has shared the big and small screens acting in episodes of Stargate Atlantis, Psych, and Hallmark movies. He was directed by Brad Bird (The Incredibles) in the film Tomorrowland, and was at a loss for words when Jude Law from The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus asked Pearce about recycling a water bottle. He snuck up on me!
